Local Author Auntie Angie Launches Heartwarming Children's Book

Siloam Springs, November 29, 2023– Siloam Springs is abuzz with excitement as local children's book author, Auntie Angie, prepares to unveil her debut picture book, "What Happened To Zoey? A Book About Grief for Kids." The community is cordially invited to join the celebration on Saturday, December 9, from 11 am to 12 pm at the Siloam Springs Public Library.

This special event promises an enchanting experience for families, featuring a book signing session with Auntie Angie herself, alongside her esteemed mentor and fellow author, Nicole Donoho of Teddyfly Publishing. As Auntie Angie shares her heartfelt narrative, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in engaging crafting activities. Children can create their very own memory boxes, fostering a hands-on understanding of the book's themes, while families can capture cherished moments in a Winter Wonderland-themed photobooth.

"I help kids and grown-ups talk about hard things through the power of storytelling," shared Auntie Angie. "As a mom, aunt, educator, and mentor, I've always been that honorary Auntie that kids turn to with the hard questions."

Auntie Angie's dedication to nurturing empathy and understanding in children shines through in her latest book, which gently navigates the delicate topic of grief in a way that resonates with young hearts and minds. Her commitment to creating a safe space for conversations around difficult emotions has touched countless lives, earning her a special place in the hearts of families across Siloam Springs and beyond.

Join Auntie Angie and the community at the Siloam Springs Public Library on December 9 to embark on an inspiring journey through the pages of "What Happened To Zoey? A Book About Grief for Kids." Let's celebrate the power of storytelling and the profound impact it has on fostering empathy, understanding, and healing among young readers.
